Job Title: Business Analyst - WS2
Location: New York, NY or Alpharetta, GA
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise platform performance improvement initiatives. In this role, you will partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across ongoing enhancement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile environments, enterprise HR technology platforms, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops, user analysis, and SME interviews.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze current platform performance issues and collaborate with technical teams to define effective solutions.
  • Support backlog prioritization in alignment with business objectives and product roadmap.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
  • Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Partner with technical teams to clarify requirements and support solution design discussions.
  • Prepare business-facing status reports, release updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of enhancement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise HR, workflow, or business application programs.
  • Experience managing continuous improvement initiatives and enhancement backlogs for production platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise HR workflow or decisioning platforms.
  • Familiarity with data performance and optimization concepts.
  • Experience working within financial services or other regulated enterprise environments.
