Job description

Overview
At Microsoft, we are building a unified AI platform that enables developers and enterprises to build, deploy, and operate intelligent applications and agents at global scale. Azure & Foundry Native Integrations is a key component of this platform, bringing deeply integrated third-party (ISV) capabilities into Azure and Microsoft Foundry to power real-world AI workloads.
As a Principal Product Manager - CoreAI, you will lead onboarding, partner execution, and lifecycle management for strategic ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partners. You will operate as the single point of ownership for partner execution, driving operational excellence, executive alignment, and sustained partner growth across the Microsoft AI ecosystem.
This role sits at the intersection of product, business, and partner strategy, where you will translate platform priorities into execution outcomes. You will work across engineering, category PMs, and field teams, while engaging directly with partner executives to drive alignment, resolve escalations, and accelerate Azure and Foundry adoption.
This is a high-impact role requiring execution leadership, ecosystem thinking, and the ability to operate effectively across complex, cross-organizational environments.
Responsibilities
  • Own onboarding, execution, and lifecycle management of ISV partners, driving successful integration, adoption, and scale on Azure & Foundry while maintaining engagement through partner connects, executive syncs, and operational reviews.
  • Act as the single point of contact for partner execution escalations, ensuring timely alignment and resolution across engineering, product, and field teams, while upholding execution accountability and delivery commitments.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with executives from Microsoft & ISV, including preparation of business narratives, metrics tracking, and end-to-end follow-through on commitments and action items.
  • Execute AI ISV ecosystem priorities by aligning partner capabilities with platform needs across AI, data, storage, networking, and observability, while coordinating closely with Category PMs, Engineering, Field Sales, EPS, and Marketing to deliver consistent partner experiences.
  • Drive executive alignment with Microsoft and partner leadership on priorities and outcomes, while ensuring structured handoffs, clear ownership, seamless partner transitions, and proactive identification of risks, growth signals, and escalation trends to enable timely leadership intervention.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, program management, or partner/ISV management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across large, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience handling escalations, driving accountability, and delivering execution outcomes.
  • Analytical and communication skills to translate business and technical inputs into executive insights.
  • Stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and AI platforms (e.g., model workflows, agentic applications, or AI ecosystem components), with the ability to comfortably engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and partners on AI-enabled scenarios.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including familiarity with AI/ML concepts, agentic workflows, model customization, and the developer ecosystem around modern AI platforms.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and Microsoft AI/ML offerings.
  • Understanding of ISV ecosystems, marketplace dynamics, and partner go-to-market strategies in cloud or SaaS environments.
  • Proven ability to drive platform adoption, partner-led growth, or cloud consumption (e.g., Marketplace, ACR), translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
