Job description

Slip Robotics builds autonomous robotic systems for warehouse logistics. We are a venture-backed, fast-growing team where technology, data, and AI are core to how we operate - not just what we sell. Our Digital Solutions team builds the internal tools, workflow automations, enterprise integrations, and governed systems that keep the company scaling efficiently.

The Role

We are hiring a Full-Stack Developer to build internal tools, automations, and integrations within Slip's Digital Solutions team. You will ship working software at a pace that matches a startup's needs - prototyping quickly, validating with stakeholders, and hardening what works into reliable systems.

AI-assisted development is how this team achieves outsized results. You will use AI tools every day to write code faster, generate prototypes, scaffold integrations, and accelerate testing. AI fluency directly multiplies your output.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, hungry to contribute, and motivated by the opportunity to create disproportionate value. The tools you build don't sit on a shelf - they get used across the organization immediately, and the impact of your work compounds with every team that benefits from it.

What You Will Do
  • Develop web-based tools, dashboards, utilities, and workflow automations that solve operational problems across Slip's teams.
  • Build connectors and data synchronization workflows between enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PLM) and internal platforms.
  • Use AI-assisted development workflows to rapidly prototype solutions, gather feedback, and iterate toward production-ready implementations.
  • Help transition prototypes into governed, production-grade systems - adding documentation, automated tests, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Monitor the health of deployed tools. Respond to issues, ship fixes, and ensure ongoing reliability.
  • Support the Digital Solutions Lead with tool registration, promotion pipeline intake, and Slip Hub maintenance.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent project/portfolio experience) with full-stack exposure.
  • Proficiency with React, and either Node.js or Python for backend work. PostgreSQL fundamentals; exposure to DynamoDB or NoSQL a plus.
  • Active use of AI development tools - code assistants, LLM-based prototyping, AI-assisted debugging. You should already be using AI to write better code faster.
  • Experience building web applications, internal tools, or workflow automations.
  • Comfort with REST APIs and basic integration patterns between SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git, basic CI/CD concepts, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
  • Clear communication skills - ability to demo work, gather feedback, and translate user needs into technical solutions.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with enterprise systems (NetSuite, HubSpot, Propel, or similar).
  • Exposure to data tools (PostgreSQL beyond basics, Snowflake, dbt, or similar).
  • Background in robotics, logistics, manufacturing, or hardware environments.
  • Interest in AI tool governance, compliance, or structured development frameworks.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity in an early-stage robotics company
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
  • Permissive time off policy
