About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Specialist to be the technical lead for ABMC's Microsoft 365 and Azure tenant, providing reactive incident support and proactive governance across the full M365 stack, including identity, endpoint management, security monitoring, and records compliance. This role is responsible for SLA-bound incident response, security directive remediation, Purview records management maturation, and ongoing configuration documentation across Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel. This position is a named key role under the solicitation and requires current Microsoft certifications as a condition of assignment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support the ABMC Microsoft 365 tenant, including Entra ID, Conditional Access policies, break glass account governance, Intune device management, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Respond to DHS, CISA, C-CAR, and emergency directives, evaluating the ABMC tenant against required security baselines, identifying configuration gaps, documenting exceptions, and coordinating remediation.
  • Monitor and operate Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel for the ABMC environment, supporting incident triage, escalation, and follow-through within SLA response targets. *
  • Drive Microsoft Purview records management maturation by reviewing and updating retention rules, refining record labels, expanding Purview coverage to additional SharePoint sites and mailboxes, planning automated classifiers, and supporting audit and compliance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation, including current system documentation, architecture review summaries, health check reports, and change decision records following every configuration change.
  • Support ongoing Microsoft 365 Copilot governance activities as Copilot features land in the ABMC tenant under applicable license activations.
  • Train ABMC's Records Manager on Purview advanced features and conduct knowledge transfer as part of ongoing governance maturation.
  • Enforce Section 508 compliance for all deliverables and configurations in scope.
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and eight or more years of Microsoft 365 or Azure enterprise administration experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

Required Skills & Certifications: 

  •  One current Microsoft 365 or Azure administration certification, such as MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert) or AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator).
  • One current Microsoft security or identity certification, such as SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator), SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst), or SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect).
  • S.-based. All configuration work must be performed within the United States.
  • 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including demonstrated hands-on proficiency with Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience responding to federal security directives (CISA Emergency Directives, Binding Operational Directives, or equivalent) and conducting tenant security baseline reviews.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview compliance and records management features, including retention policies, record labels, and sensitivity classification.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 or Azure environments in federal civilian or similarly regulated organizations.

Preferred Skills & Certifications: 

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert designation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM/SOAR deployment and incident response playbooks in a federal environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, data classification, and prompt policy management.
  • Microsoft partner credentials or specializations in Security or Modern Work.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation or equivalent service management certification.

Background Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
