The Dynamics 365 Principal is responsible for leading Venture's Microsoft Business Applications practice, delivering successful client implementations, and growing a profitable consulting business.


This individual serves as the primary functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Business Applications while partnering with sales, project management, and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.


Beyond consulting, the Dynamics 365 Principal will help establish service offerings, delivery methodologies, best practices, and a high-performing consulting team capable of scaling into a dedicated Business Applications practice.


  • Lead discovery workshops with executive and business stakeholders.
  • Understand client business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.
  • Design end-to-end Dynamics 365 solutions aligned with business outcomes.
  • Document functional requirements and solution designs.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 applications and Power Platform solutions.
  • Recommend Microsoft best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
  • Support go-live activities and post-implementation optimization.
  • Act as Functional Lead on Dynamics implementations.
  • Own overall functional solution quality.
  • Manage project scope from a functional perspective.
  • Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with Solution Architects, Developers, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
