Job description

Job Summary:
Ultra Clean Technology is a leader in the semiconductor industry, focusing on continuous innovation and exceeding customer expectations. They are seeking a Director of Digital Workspace to manage the rollout of Microsoft’s digital workplace suite and oversee dev/ops teams to ensure effective delivery and support of solutions while maintaining security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Apply best practice Dev/Ops principles to improve maturity in both solution delivery (timeliness, quality) and operational support (uptime, ticket resolution, on time delivery, user satisfaction) to improve.
• Implement M365 governance inclusive of FinOps & self-service, ensuring alignment and accountability among key IT, financial, and functional stakeholders to grow platform usage responsibly.
• Promote innovation through the discovery and deployment of new features, including but not limited to the use of GenAI (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio) and AI/ML (Azure AI Builder).
• Engage with business stakeholders to perform business analysis and ROI assessments on candidate solutions to inform priority and architectural fit.
• Rigorously manage an internal and external workforce of up to 20 individuals to meet data-driven performance objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Microsoft Digital Workplace stack: Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio.
• Automation and AI technologies, including Azure AI Builder and AI/ML-enabled productivity solutions.
• DevOps and platform operations: solution delivery lifecycle, uptime management, incident resolution, and service performance metrics.
• Strategic leadership and stakeholder management across IT, finance, and business functions.
• Strong advocacy and communication skills to promote best practices, innovation, and responsible platform usage.
• Data-driven decision-making with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and user experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years as an application owner of the M365 applications, with accountability for roadmap delivery and platform adoption.
• Demonstrated ability to balance innovation, governance, security, and compliance in a medium to large scale digital workplace environment.
• Led delivery and ongoing support of Microsoft 365 digital workplace solutions, including both standard and custom applications.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field is a distinct advantage.
• Professional development: certification or evidence of continued education in cloud platforms (Azure), automation (Power Apps / Automate), and emerging AI technologies (Copilot, Azure).
• Training or certifications related to Microsoft 365, cloud governance, or DevOps practices.
