Job description

Binary Stream is an award-winning ISV and SaaS company with over 25 years of experience delivering solutions built for Microsoft Dynamics. We are proud to be recognized as one of BC’s Top Employers for the second year in a row and one of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers for the third-year running.

With a global team and thousands of customers worldwide, we continue to grow while staying focused on what matters most, our people, our culture, and the impact of the work we do. We are a collaborative, inclusive team guided by our core values of Team, Innovation, and Growth.

What you will do.

We are hiring an Account Manager to join our high-performing Sales team. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will drive revenue by owning and closing opportunities through the Microsoft Dynamics reseller channel.

The Account Manager creates and progresses new opportunities by engaging existing partners, building new reseller relationships, and uncovering demand across your assigned territory. This role balances proactive hunting with ongoing partner development and works closely with internal teams to move deals efficiently from discovery to close.

Success in this role comes from strong partner relationships, disciplined sales execution, and a solid understanding of customer needs within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

What you will be accountable for.

Opportunity Creation and Pipeline Growth

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and develop net new sales opportunities through reseller partners in your territory.
  • Drive outbound opportunity creation by engaging partners, initiating new deal conversations, and uncovering customer demand.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, balanced pipeline by activating partners and expanding opportunities within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

Sales Cycle Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through close, in partnership with reseller sales teams.
  • Lead structured discovery conversations with partners and end customers to understand business challenges, priorities, and buying drivers.
  • Deliver standard and tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer requirements and Binary Stream solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotes and Statements of Work, address objections, and guide opportunities to close.
  • Forecast deal timing and probability with accuracy and consistency.

Partner Engagement and Enablement

  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with reseller partners to support opportunity creation and deal progression.
  • Engage partner sellers and key stakeholders to uncover new opportunities and advance active deals.
  • Support the onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement of new reseller partners within your territory.
  • Coordinate internal handoffs and collaboration with Professional Services, Development, and Marketing to support successful deal execution.

Measures of success.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quota across solutions and territory.
  • Maintain an accurate, up to date pipeline and forecast in Dynamics CRM.
  • Demonstrate strong cross functional collaboration to support deal execution and customer success.
  • Contribute positively to Binary Stream’s culture, values, and team environment.

Skills and capabilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate solution value to partners and customers.
  • Confident presentation and demonstration skills in partner and customer facing settings.
  • Solid negotiation and objection handling skills, with the ability to position value and move deals forward.
  • Comfort working with modern sales and collaboration tools, including Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Teams, and remote meeting platforms.
  • Foundational understanding of ERP and accounting concepts related to business software solutions.

Experience and background.

  • Post‑secondary degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • 1 or more years of B2B software sales experience in an SMB or mid‑market environment.
  • Experience selling SaaS or ERP business solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s partner and reseller ecosystem is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, Business Central, or Finance and Operations is considered an asset.
