Job Description

The Data Solutions Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. This role develops and maintains data pipelines, reporting platforms, dashboards, and data models that enable operational efficiency and informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.


This role may be based in Anchorage, AK or Phoenix, AZ and requires regular, in-office presence at a NANA office in one of these locations.


Responsibilities
Data Integration & Data Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration and data transformation processes between enterprise systems.

  • Build and support automated data pipelines utilizing databases, APIs, cloud platforms, files, and third-party applications.

  • Develop data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls to ensure accurate and reliable information.

  • Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, data models, workflow documentation, and technical specifications.

  • Support data governance, metadata management, and data lifecycle practices.


Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting and analytical solutions.

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and self-service reporting capabilities.

  • Support enterprise reporting and business intelligence platforms used throughout the organization.

  • Analyze business processes and data trends to identify opportunities for improved reporting and decision support.


Solution Support & Optimization

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting data integration, reporting, and analytics solutions.

  • Optimize database queries, reports, dashboards, and data processing workflows for performance and scalability.

  • Support testing, deployments, upgrades, and migrations across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to data and reporting capabilities.

  • Maintain system documentation, standards, and support procedures.


Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with business users, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to deliver effective technology solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Promote best practices related to data management, reporting, analytics, and solution development.

  • Participate in project planning, testing, implementation, and ongoing support activities.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience developing and supporting data integration, reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data management solutions.

  • Experience developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions that automate the movement, transformation, and synchronization of data between business systems, databases, cloud platforms, and external applications.

  • Experience with relational databases, SQL development, and data modeling.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise data integration platforms, including Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI and Crystal Reports.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Experience with data warehousing, data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).

  • Experience supporting ERP, HRIS, financial, or other enterprise business systems.

  • Current driverโ€™s license with an acceptable driving record that meets NANAโ€™s insurancerequirements.
