Job description

Role Summary
Experienced Terraform Developer to support large-scale migration of applications and infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure cloud services, DevOps automation, and cloud migration initiatives. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure using Terraform and supporting migration, modernization, and cloud governance activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
  • Design and deploy Azure infrastructure including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Application Gateway.
  • Build reusable Terraform modules and manage Terraform state securely.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning through Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives utilizing Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and application teams to implement Azure Landing Zones and governance standards.
  • Implement Azure security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and compliance controls.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and migration issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Support infrastructure modernization and cloud optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Terraform development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (AzureRM) and Terraform providers.
  • Expertise in Azure networking, security, IAM/RBAC, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python scripting.
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises environments to Azure.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery, Backup, and Business Continuity solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A Terraform engineer with strong Azure infrastructure and DevOps expertise who can automate cloud provisioning, support workload migrations, implement governance and security controls, and drive successful Azure cloud transformation programs.
  • Experience with Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), containers, and cloud-native services.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization.
