Job Description
Automation Engineer / Developer
Location: Wayne, PA
J.G. Wentworth Home Lending is seeking a motivated, energetic Automation Engineer / Developer for our Wayne, PA location. We are looking for a team player with strong skills experience and knowledge of the industry.
This position will design, develop, and implement automated software solutions based on business needs. You will work closely with a small, local, cross-functional team to identify opportunities, implement and maintain solutions. Self-directed training will be provided.
Experience working with Java, Python and/or .Net platforms and interfacing with APIs will be critical to being successful in this role. As well, a candidate that shows an aptitude for architecture and problem solving in additional to their coding process will be important.
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience developing in an Agile - SCRUM methodology
  • 3+ years related experience coding in a.Net language, Python or Java
  • Understanding of Database design and T-SQL
  • Experience working in a continuous integration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages such as MS Excel (VBA scripting), MS Visio, MS Access, & MS Word
  • Strong in design principles and modular programming techniques
  • Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams
  • Experience in creating and managing technical documents.
  • Previous experience working on automation testing tools and infrastructure preferred
  • Existing experience on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools/technologies is a plus

Desired experience but not required
  • Mortgage experience is a plus
  • Working with Ellie Mae's Encompass platform is a plus
