Job Title : QA Automation with Azure DevOps
Location : Remote

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled QA to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Integration Applications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide support, implement new features, and maintain the integrity of our integration systems. If you are passionate about ensuring seamless communication between systems and enjoy tackling complex integration challenges, we want to hear from you.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, encompassing both Functional and Automation testing.
  • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Functional and Automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience in testing both Client/Server and Web-based applications across various domains such as Healthcare, Finance, E-commerce, etc.
  • Proficiency in creating Test Plans, defining Test Scenarios, developing Test Cases, and executing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Test Management tools such as HP Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or similar for test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Expertise in manual testing techniques, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong understanding of test automation concepts and experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Katalon Studio, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation purposes.
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar, with the ability to validate API endpoints and payloads.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Create QA tasks for each user story and write test cases in Azure DevOps, create test environment and test data as needed.
  • Manually test API endpoints using Postman.
  • Perform database testing using with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Manually execute test cases and log defects found during testing in Azure DevOps.
  • Perform Bug fix verification tests and track defects to closure.
  • Acting as a primary support test engineer and involved in issue analysis and troubleshooting for
  • defects reported in UAT or production environments.
  • Provide Integration Application Support and Implementations for Integration Applications.|
  • Execute Standard Base Map Implementations for various data formats including X12, Integration FACT, IDOC, XML, CSV, TXT, XLS, HTML, and others as required.
  • Validate Integration Transactions such as 204, 214, 210, 990, 997, and more, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Set up End-to-End communication channels including FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN, ensuring secure and efficient data transmission.
  • Ensure fast and measurable issue resolution, leading to increased availability of systems and applications.
  • Contribute to cost containment efforts by identifying and resolving inefficiencies in integration processes.|
  • Collaborate with development teams to develop API integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between systems.
  • Adapt to a flexible resourcing model, contributing to various projects as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of integration applications, including regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across projects, documenting best practices and lessons learned.
  • Proactively communicate and review project documents to ensure alignment with integration requirements.
  • Provide visibility and accountability regarding support requests, SLAs, and resolution details to execute and management teams.
