Senior IT Support Analyst

Senior IT Support Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Listen to customers, gather customer information, analyze symptoms, break down complex issues, identify problem (including severity of issue)
  • Identify areas to improve efficiency and optimize incident response through implementation of automated monitors and corrective action procedures
  • Deliver high quality solutions that align with customer response timeline (SLA); accurately post status in ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Provide practical solutions for a vast range of application/ technology problems as well as technology training
  • Evaluate new technology and methods as potential solutions
  • Educate, train and build relationships with customers
  • Document problems, corrective actions and SOPs
  • Participate in strategy development
Qualifications

Senior IT Support Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Dell desktops/ laptops, Lenovo laptops, HP printers, hand-held scanners and other desktop/ application technologies 
  • Proficiency with MS Windows OS, MS Office and Desktop productivity tools
  • 2+ years of experience supporting ERP applications required
  • Excellent communication and customer rapport

Senior IT Support Analyst Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • ITIL Certification and Comp TIA A+
  • Help Desk Certifications, Comp TIA Network
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL or Microsoft Access database and Help Desk Incident Management Software
  • 5+ years of experience working with Internet Explorer, Chrome, HTML, Win install, internet/ intranet support
  • 5+ experience supporting Trend Micro Antivirus, Citrix, Active Directory, TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, VPN client configuration, Microsoft Exchange/ Outlook (creating rules), Excel Macros and formulas
