Position Summary

Essnova Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer to support a federal customer in designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise Microsoft cloud environments. The ideal candidate is a technical leader with deep expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoint administration, and cloud security who thrives in highly regulated federal environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity governance solutions.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, and other Microsoft security platforms.
  • Support hybrid Active Directory environments and endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Implement Zero Trust security principles and cloud security best practices.
  • Support Microsoft collaboration platforms including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Develop cloud monitoring, reporting, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to improve enterprise cloud operations.
  • Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and other applicable federal cybersecurity standards.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
