Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $18.00hr - $23.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1+ years experience in manufacturing and/or quality (production, packaging, labeling incoming and shipping, critical systems, etc.) preferred.
  • Demonstrates and has mastered all skills associated with Product Builder 1 role for 1+ years or has prior medical device related experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to be cross-trained and demonstrates good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements.
  • Must have good working knowledge of MP’s and WIs in their training plans.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
  • Overtime is required in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a member of a production team whose goal is to assemble required components, operate equipment, inspect in-process devices and maintain the quality and integrity of the products at all times.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures.
  • Perform multiple operations of a more complex nature on a functional area, such as assembly, inspection of in-process units and assemblies; material documentation, handling, and control.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Complete training on production tasks and maintain updated individual training records.
  • Demonstrate and apply a solid understanding of how to use measuring instruments.
  • Use computers at a proficient level as needed for confirmations, issuing materials, and printing labels.
  • Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics in relation to daily tasks.
  • Participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Use a microscope and other hand-held tools as required.

  • Ability to use a microscope during an entire shift.
