Responsible for turn-key power supply electronic designs pertaining to high efficiency AC/DC, DC/DC supplies, Solar Conversion and Charger related circuitry. The successful candidate will work across multiple disciplines to assure designs meet specifications including energy and thermal emissions and safety requirements.

Demonstrable experience should include:

  • Design, manufacturing and application of ac-dc power supplies, dc-dc converters, and custom power electronics, including magnetics design, digital/microcontroller and analog circuitry
  • Magnetics Design
  • Schematic entry, PCB Layout Design and aiding / directing Mechanical Design team towards component and product drawing creations
  • New product development including product design conceptualization, defining and interpreting design requirement specifications, problem solving, and writing performance specifications
  • Embedded microprocessor systems, interfaces & development of firmware a plus.
  • Customer application support / problem solving

The successful candidate should possess additional skills as a team player and able to mentor and train less experienced engineers.

 Must be legally employable in the USA

Requirements

Required Education and Skill History:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline
  • 5 years demonstrable Offline and DC-DC Power Supply Design, 10yrs preferred
  • Demonstrable Magnetics Design, Transformer, Inductors, Chokes
  • Relocation to Eastern Tennessee (37686 area)
  • Contract Work to start is a possibility
