Job description

MT/MLT – Liberal, KS (Permanent Position)

Position: Medical Technologist (MLT/MLS)
Pay Rate: $27.10/hour + based on experience
Additional shift and weekend differentials apply

Shift Requirements:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8 hours)
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8 hours)

Weekend Requirement:

  • Day Shift: Every 3rd weekend (if on day shift)
  • Evening Shift: As per schedule

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science

Requirements:

  • Phlebotomy required
  • Microbiology Lead Tech and Chemistry Lead Tech roles available (MLS only)

Facility Overview:

  • 110-bed hospital with ER, Skilled Nursing Unit, Surgery/Recovery, OB Unit, Medical Unit, and ICU
  • Lab services include: chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, molecular, and microbiology testing
  • Lab hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (outpatients)
  • Also supports testing for surrounding clinics

Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 4–5 techs, 3 phlebotomists
  • Evening Shift: 3–4 techs, 2 phlebotomists
  • Night Shift: 1 tech, 1 phlebotomist

Additional Benefits:

  • Relocation bonus up to $2,500 (with proof/receipts)
