JOB DESCRIPTION: 
  • We are seeking a QC Microbiology Lab analyst, responsible to perform microbiology assays supporting GMP, Clinical, development product release.
POSITION SUMMARY:
  • This position is to support related QC Micro Assay testing for GMP, Clinical, and development product release.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support day-to-day operations in QC microbiology laboratories
  • Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples including growth promotion testing
  • Ensuring all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills and achieve proficiency
  • Support method verifications for clinical and commercial products
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Requirement(s): Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or in a GMP environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to support and prioritize many diverse activities simultaneously while meeting schedule commitments
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to follow written procedures
