This position is in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week onsite and 2 days a week remote.

Your role:

Responsible for leading Indirect Strategic Sourcing efforts within Facilities and Operations spend categories.

The development of short-term and long-term category specific strategies and plans that align with company goals for realizing value, reducing costs, and meeting financial expectations, while managing vendor performance and relationships.

Effectively document, communicate, and gain buy-in for the strategies from global and regional function and Operations leaders.

Prepare vendor recommendations for decision-making.

Interact with stakeholders to develop, engage, and lead supplier relationships that drive the greatest value in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, risk management, sustainability, supplier diversity, and innovation.

Manage the ongoing performance of our suppliers including setting objectives and service level agreements (SLAs), tracking, and reporting KPI performance, supplier scorecards, and prioritizing and leading improvement efforts where warranted.

Create and excite indirect category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI’s and RFP’s, document bid events with suppliers; develop selection criteria based on a thorough understanding of the business needs and drive the selection and approval process of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Develop negotiation strategies, gain alignment from stakeholders, lead cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, and implement appropriate supplier risk analysis.

Leverage 3rdparty subject matter experts and industry networks to secure information on industry category trends, benchmarking, and best practices.

Manage contracts, contract negotiation, and contractual dispute resolutions.

Develop and utilize a Strategic Sourcing playbook to empower key stakeholders and maximize strategic sourcing leverage, optimize project design, and minimize project durations and cost.

What you bring to the role:
  • 4-year college degree with preference for Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Economics.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in an Indirect Strategic Sourcing role.
  • Preferred category experience in Facilities and Operations (Indirect Spend).
  • Motivated to optimize and identify indirect spend cost savings opportunities and driving results.
  • Problem solving experience in reducing total costs, improving processes, and reducing supplier risk.
  • Recognized SME within own business unit and across the company with RFI, RFQ, RFP and bid analysis.
  • Collaborate with technology groups to develop long range sourcing and category plans based on organizational goals and priorities.
  • Familiarity with contract language and terms.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative individual contributor.
  • Resilient and strategic mindset
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize, summarize, and present complex data and solutions.
  • Experience sourcing and partnering with stakeholders on a global basis.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,000.00 - $197,200.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
