We are currently looking for a Mazak Milling Machinist to join our team.

Job Summary:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
About the Role:
This role operates Mazak CNC milling machine to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The machinist sets up programs, runs Mazak equipment, maintains part quality through in-process inspection, and keeps production flowing through established workflow, safety standards, and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required per DoD requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of mazatrol controls
  • Ability to read and write G Code
  • Hold tolerance of .0005 +/-
  • Ability to set-up machines / tooling
  • Ability to use measurements equipment i.e. Mics, Calipers, highstands, and indramic's, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with E2 is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work with others and as a team
  • Ability to work overtime when asked
  • Ability to maintain a clean work area
  • Problem solving / troubleshooting skills

Physical & Mental:
General: Position requires ability to concentrate on details with occasional interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time. Ability to understand theories behind related concepts and to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over periods of time; ability to prioritize given shifting priorities; ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Environmental & Working Conditions:
Industrial shop setting. Dust, dirt, metal debris from manufacturing will be encountered. Moderate levels of noise will be encountered.
