Job description


We are seeking a PLM Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) / ENOVIA platform.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional business teams, functional analysts, and developers to build robust test scenarios, automate complex end-to-end workflows, and drive release quality across critical engineering and manufacturing business processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Test AutomationDevelopment: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete(VBScript) for the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) / ENOVIA PLM platform.
  • Execution &Strategy: Lead SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and smoke testing cycles acrosscore PLM business processes and external system interfaces.
  • Defect Management: Log, track, analyze,and drive defect resolution using Micro Focus ALM and JIRA,working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
  • Framework Optimization: Maintain testautomation repositories and frameworks, identifying continuous improvementopportunities to optimize release efficiency and test coverage.
  • StakeholderCollaboration: Partner with product owners, business analysts, and functional SMEs totranslate complex engineering requirements into comprehensive test plans.

Requirements
  • Core Platform Expertise: Direct hands-onexperience with ENOVIA PLM / 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform testing.
  • Test Automation Tools: Proven experiencecreating and executing automation scripts using TestComplete (specifically utilizing VBScript).
  • Test & LifecycleManagement: Proficiency with Micro Focus ALM (Quality Center) and JIRA for test case mapping, execution tracking, and defect management.
  • Testing Lifecycle: Deep understanding ofsoftware testing lifecycles, including Functional, Integration,Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Background Check: Ability to pass amandatory background check prior to onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity withadditional test automation frameworks or languages (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Experience withenterprise integration testing involving PLM, ERP, or CAD environment dataflows.
