This is where YOU fit in: Navy Exchange Fallon is in need of a Micro Market Associate to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. You will perform a variety of tasks which involve the upkeep and repair of all Navy Exchange Micro Mart retail locations. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer - our Military patrons and their families.
So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
o Maintains Exchange owned machines and Micro markets daily, performing inspections and replenishing products.
o Greets and engages with customers in selection of merchandise.
o Collects money from vending machines, micro market kiosks or other miscellaneous machines.
o Turn-in money bags daily from Cash Handling Clerks after counting and verifying cash receipts.
o Operates motor vehicle in the performance of the duties.
The Qualifiers:
o Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
o Must possess a valid state driver's license and pass a pre-employment criminal & motor vehicle background check. (e.g. Federal, DOD, Security Clearance)
o Must pass the GSA defensive driving course.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE One year progressive responsible clerical office or retail sales work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to interact with customers.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR GENERAL EXPERIENCE Half-year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each 6 months of general experience requirement.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE One year of progressively responsible experience that provides the applicant with knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of retail to include retail sales services vending store operations and warehouse etc. Physical Requirements Frequently stands walks and lifts moderately heavy objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Requirements - Must possess a valid state driver s license. - Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely. - Must be able to pass appropriate background checks needed for the specific area of responsibility e.g. Federal DOD Security Clearance etc. - Must Pass the GSA defensive driving course.
