THE JOB:
Are you charismatic, engaging, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? We're looking for a Model Bartender who can do more than mix drinks-you'll create memorable moments that keep guests talking long after their stay.
As a Model Bartender, you will expertly prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment. Most importantly, you'll set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience with your warm personality, welcoming smile, and attentive service.
THE STARTING RATE: $9.50 per hour plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
  • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available
  • Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
  • Ring beverages that are poured or served, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
  • Provide apprentice bartender and bar porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service, and bartending
  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar
  • Participate in modeling, presentations and promotions programs throughout the casino and resort if applicable
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusal events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Has an high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Has 1+ years of prior relevant rxperience in food & beverage, cocktail service, nightclub, or entertainment venue.

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$9.50
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $13,800.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
