Hope Being Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team in a full-time remote position. This vital role is geared toward supporting clients through their mental health journeys, focusing on individual, couple, and family therapy. • Deliver comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to address the specific needs of clients seeking outpatient care.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and relational health, enabling the establishment of personalized treatment plans that set realistic and achievable goals.
• Apply your understanding of family systems theory to navigate complex relationship dynamics and improve communication among family members.
• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when needed, ensuring client safety and well-being during distressing situations.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Educate clients on relationship-building techniques, effective communication skills, and coping strategies that empower them to improve their overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to deliver a holistic approach to client care, attending multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current on the latest practices and research in marriage and family therapy.

The LMFT will work with diverse client demographics, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. • A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
