As an LMFT at Family Flourish Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples and families, integrating individual sessions when necessary to address specific issues.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a range of issues including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, grief and loss, communication difficulties, and family conflicts.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records while adhering to ethical and legal standards in therapy.
• Assessing client needs to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing, growth, and resiliency.
• Regularly collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and remain up-to-date with best practices in the field.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health services and improve community access to care.

The LMFT will provide care to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, addressing various challenges such as:

• Substance abuse and recovery.
• Interpersonal conflicts, including among parents and children, siblings, and blended family dynamics.
• Adjustments and coping with separation and divorce.
• Medical-related stressors affecting mental health.
• Emotional difficulties stemming from grief and loss.

Our focus is on crafting personalized treatment plans that resonate with each client's unique circumstances and needs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• A passion for providing high-quality therapy in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

While not mandatory, the following experience and skills may enhance your candidacy:

• Experience working with a wide range of mental health issues and diverse populations, including children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Track record of successful client outcomes in therapeutic settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate clients' needs, including evenings and weekends.
