Prestige Life Counseling Center, a dedicated community health clinic located in Rochester, New York, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing outpatient therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate emotional challenges and relationship dynamics.
• Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and relational needs to develop targeted treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Utilizing systemic family therapy techniques to unravel complex relationships and enhance communication among family members.
• Offering immediate support through crisis intervention strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
• Keeping meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
• Educating clients about effective communication and coping strategies to enrich their emotional intelligence and relational health.
• Partnering with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, for a more holistic approach to treatment.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy practices.

Our clientele includes a diverse array of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and cultural contexts. You will have the opportunity to work closely with adults, children, and adolescents, addressing concerns such as communication issues, family dynamics, grief, trauma, and more. Your interventions will play a crucial role in promoting healthier relationships and facilitating personal growth in our clients.

• Must hold a current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• At least three years of experience providing therapy services in a similar capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.
• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a team dynamic.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

• Previous experience specifically in outpatient therapy services is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in working with different populations, particularly in family dynamics and relationship issues.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, our compensation package includes:
