• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs through empathetic and active listening, allowing you to tailor personalized therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, adeptly utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and aligning with best practices for documentation.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and research findings.
• Engage clients in the therapy process, encouraging feedback and actively involving them in their treatment plans to enhance their therapeutic journey.

As an LMFT with Understanding Minds, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges—from relationship issues and anxiety to trauma and life transitions. • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Active and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in therapy, particularly in settings similar to outpatient practice.
