Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Myers Counseling Center, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating joint therapy sessions focused on couples, while also engaging in individual therapy to address personal challenges.
  • Addressing a wide variety of issues including but not limited to conflicts among family members, communication difficulties, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
  • Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and staying current with best practices to ensure effective treatment.
  • Documenting session notes and treatment progress in a timely and accurate manner, complying with all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Providing ongoing support and education to clients to enhance coping strategies and promote personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele at Myers Counseling Center, including couples and families facing relational challenges. Your role will involve addressing various complex issues such as blended family dynamics, job stressors, medical concerns affecting family relationships, and more. Qualifications
