Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitating joint therapy sessions with couples to address issues while also providing individual therapy as required.
• Managing and mitigating complex family dynamics, including conflict resolution, communication difficulties, and adjustment to life changes like separation or divorce.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to treat a variety of issues, including but not limited to alcohol abuse, grief and loss, and job stress.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for all sessions and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will encompass a broad spectrum, including couples navigating relationship challenges, families dealing with conflict, and individuals experiencing mental health issues related to family dynamics. You will encounter diverse case scenarios that require sensitivity and tailored approaches, allowing you to leverage your expertise in Marriage and Family Therapy to foster healing and positive change.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience

We welcome both newly licensed therapists and experienced professionals to apply. Candidates with experience in telehealth services, crisis intervention, and specialized therapies for blended families or adolescents may stand out in our selection process. Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to providing at least 30 hours of service per week is additionally preferred.

• A competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
