Our mission is to ensure memories are delivered one piece of furniture at a time, on time, every time. We are looking for individuals experienced in logistics and transportation to add to our team who will contribute to achieving our mission.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate - Premier Services is responsible for receiving, inspecting, handling, and storing high-value goods in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports daily warehouse operations with a focus on quality control, organization, and careful handling of furniture and other sensitive items. Attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive inbound shipments and verify items against shipping documents
  • Inspect & photograph furniture and other goods for damage, accuracy, and condition upon receipt
  • Properly palletize, wrap, and label items for storage or outbound shipment
  • Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations
  • Pull, stage, and load furniture and other items for outbound deliveries
  • Safely handle high-value and delicate items using proper lifting and handling techniques
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (if certified)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company handling standards
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse audits as needed
  • Communicate issues related to damage, shortages, or discrepancies to management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse or furniture handling experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50-75 Lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer or inventory system experience a plus
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50-75 lbs; heavier items with assistance
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to safely handle large, bulky, and delicate furniture items
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
