These bakers often work in large bakeries, commercial kitchens, or specialty bake shops that serve city populations. Their responsibilities include preparing dough, monitoring baking processes, ensuring product quality, and sometimes developing new recipes to cater to diverse urban tastes. Metropolitan Bakers must adhere to health and safety standards and may work early or overnight shifts to ensure fresh products are available daily.
