Mortgage Customer Service Representative

Metroplex Mortgage Services is hiring a Mortgage Customer Service Representative to work out of our office in Tampa full-time. Please ensure this commute is acceptable.

The bulk of your day will be on the phone. Talking to borrowers, answering questions, following up on documents, and walking people through the loan process. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with speaking on the phone and calling.

Responsibilities

  • Take inbound calls and make outbound follow-up calls throughout the day: loan status updates, document requests, general questions
  • Be the main point of contact for borrowers from the time they apply through the day they close
  • Work closely with loan officers, processors, and underwriters to get customers' answers and keep files moving
  • Keep notes and loan activity updated accurately in our system after each interaction
  • Chase down outstanding documents when needed and communicate clearly with customers about what's still required and why

Qualifications

  • Able to commute to work everyday
  • Prior phone experience in the customer service industry
  • Willing to get NMLS licensed
