Job description

Technical Project Manager

Must live near Duluth, MN or Relocate
Summary
Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a multi-year ERP implementation.  This role requires a hands-on project leader who can manage complex workstreams, facilitate technical discussions, coordinate vendors and stakeholders, and drive accountability across the project team.  The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with a solid understanding of ERP systems, SDLC, integrations, and data migration activities.
Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise software or ERP implementations.
  • Experience with ERP platforms.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing integrations, data migration, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to participate competently in technical discussions and interpret technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience tracking project plans, risks, dependencies, action items, and project metrics.
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and ability to drive projects to successful outcomes.

Preferred

  • ERP implementation experience.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Agile or Scrum Certification.
  • Experience managing large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Experience working with third-party implementation partners and vendors.
  • Knowledge of best-practice ERP implementation strategies including "configure over customize" approaches.
