Job Summary:

Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Manages the cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas. Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervises and plans work of assigned staff
  • Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
  • Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
  • Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
  • Oversees the mending of linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair
  • Participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
  • Plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services
  • Plans, organizes and directs provision of housekeeping, grounds maintenance, laundry and sewing services
  • Presses and store all linens
  • Supervises the cleaning and straightening of assigned areas
Entry Qualifications:

One (1) year of experience in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role in a related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 3 (FES042) or position equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:
