JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
Mister Kleen Maintenance Company, Inc., a leading provider of contract cleaning services to high security and commercial facilities, is looking for full-time Federally ClearedGreen Cleaning Technicians/Custodians to perform cleaning and janitorial services that exceed quality control standards.
Minimum Requirements:
• An active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• A track record of arriving to work on time each and every day with a great attitude
• Commitment to adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Desire to provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions
• Some who takes great pride in their work!
Job duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing all surfaces to free them of dirt, smudges, and markings
• Floor care to include washing, vacuuming, dust mopping, sweeping, spray cleaning
• Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets and sinks
• Emptying waste containers and other trash
• Other cleaning assignments as needed to wow our customers
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience performing custodial work
• Knowledge of cleaning products and services
• Ability to operate cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums
Physical demands may include the following on a regular basis:
• Walking and standing
• Climbing
• Bending forward
• Wearing hip/backpack vacuum
• Reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, sometimes over the shoulder
• Respective bending and arm movements

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping and scrubbing floors.
  • Empty waste containers.
  • Low and high cleaning.
  • Deliver collected trash to the loading dock.
  • Perform restroom cleaning and restroom checks.
  • Clean water fountains.
  • Clean fitness centers, showers and locker rooms.
  • Clean freight and passenger elevators.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Shampoo carpets.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners.
  • Police grounds and empty waste containers.
  • Assist in Special Events setups.
  • Must monitor building for maintenance, safety and security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or Management.
  • Maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition.
  • Report shortage of supplies and equipment failures to immediate Supervisor or Management.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Site Supervisor/Area Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • To be considered for this position, the candidate must already possess an active TS/SCIl Federal Security Clearance and be able to maintain said clearance throughout employment. Candidates without an existing clearance will not be considered for this position.
