Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and log incoming cannabis samples, ensuring chain of custody and METRC manifest accuracy.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing by labeling, photographing, and organizing them.
- Input and verify sample data in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and METRC.
- Coordinate closely with lab analysts and sample prep teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and state regulations.
- Support both routine and non-routine testing preparations using validated lab protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance to prevent cross-contamination of cannabis samples.
- Monitor and maintain sample storage areas for proper organization and compliance.
- Assist with basic data review and ensure all intake information is complete and accurate.
- Communicate professionally with clients when needed regarding sample intake issues or clarifications.
