About This Role
Every position at Common Citizen from seed to sale, is contributing to our mission to serve our fellow citizens of Michigan with the highest quality, safest cannabis product through our highly individualized and education-oriented provisioning centers.
Reporting to the Inventory Compliance Manager, the Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting & Compliance (METRC) Citizen will ensure that we comply with the statewide monitoring system to track our marijuana products to maintain compliance with state laws authorizing commercial sale and distribution.
METRC is a hosted, real-time system that uses serialized tags with bar-codes, human-readable and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags attached to every plant, and labels attached to wholesale packages to track marijuana inventory. Each tag is attached to a plant to facilitate tracking through different stages of growth, drying, and curing processes.
Responsibilities
Outlined below is what we see you doing at this point in time. We are a fast-growing company looking for people that are excited to grow along with us.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Create Clones; record strains and create tags for the correct number of clones taken from Mother plants
  • Room Inventories: conduct and maintain by-row, by-strain inventory of plants when a room is loaded
  • Make Tags for Newly Loaded Rooms
  • Record the phase change of plants in METRC when switching from Immature plants (less than 8 inches) to Vegetative plants and create a tag and label for each plant.
  • Manage and Log Biomass/Waste
  • Collect Data from Harvest Batches including the percentages of yield for the entire harvest (bud, trim, other products and waste)
  • "Kill" Plant and Package Tags in METRC; remove non-viable, non-saleable plants from inventory
  • Maintain Plant Tag Inventory, order new tags when necessary
  • Create package tags for any plant material destined for extraction which is stored in freezers in vacuum sealed bags (fresh frozen).
  • Accept new strains; when the facility receives new mother plants, create an incoming transfer to add those plants to our inventory
  • Maintain the Strain List
  • Monitor department's compliance and ways of improvement; observe ways that each department may be able to be more compliant with state CRA regulations (including internal audits)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Create Metrc Tags and Compliance Labels for final goods products.
  • Perform regularly scheduled inventory audits to help maintain inventory throughout the facility (freezers included).
  • Learn and assist with maintaining accurate Leaflink Inventory.
