Job description

Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Abbott Park, IL, Remote 100%
Duration: 4+ months
Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert consultative and problem solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files.
  • Ensures professional service is provided at all times in accordance with the ER Service Level Agreement.
  • Independently resolves Employee Relations matters.
  • Understands customer's business and ER requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-4 years experience within a corporate HR environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work confidentially and professionally with all levels of employees.
  • Software knowledge a plus: Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel, Workday (or other system of record experience highly preferred), Zendesk (or other CRM experience highly preferred).
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
