Job Summary:

This is a casual, part-time position available exclusively to current Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) students who qualify for the Federal Work Study program. Work hours will vary based on business needs, and shifts may change from week to week.

Position Overview:
Student Assistants provide operational and clerical support on and/or off campus in various departments. Tasks may include customer service, clerical work, inventory management, tutoring, and general assistance in campus operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver customer service in assigned areas.
Operate a point-of-sale system and reconcile cash registers when applicable.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.
Organize and store records or materials.
Take inventory and track supplies.
Provide clerical support, including making copies, assembling mailings, and preparing packets.
Tutor elementary-age students in reading.
Support library operations as needed.
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Must be a current Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) student in good standing.
Must qualify for the Federal Work Study program.
This position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate students' academic commitments while providing valuable work experience on campus.
