This nursing position plays a key role in supporting our Vascular Surgery service line at IU Health Methodist, while also contributing to coordinated care across multiple IU Health locations throughout Indiana. Our team provides comprehensive perioperative and clinical support for patients undergoing a wide range of vascular procedures, working closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
We welcome experienced nurses who are eager to grow in a specialized surgical environment. This role offers strong mentorship, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and the opportunity to develop advanced skills within a collaborative, statewide vascular care team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
