Description
RHSC in St. Paul, MN is looking for an exceptional, patient focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospital Medicine team in a blended practice providing coverage at both Regions Hospital (St. Paul, MN) and Methodist Hospital (St. Louis Park, MN).
The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) in the Hospital Medicine department provides medical care for patients in a variety of inpatient settings throughout the hospital. The APC is responsible for the entirety of patient care, including obtaining patient history, conducting physical exams, and order and interpreting labs and imaging. APCs will use strong communication skills to coordinate care within an inter-disciplinary team, as well as creating a meaningful connection with patients and their family members.
Work Schedule: this position will work within a block schedule, rotating weekends, holidays and eve/night shifts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Current registration to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota and current national certification by the NCCPA OR Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota and current Nurse Practitioner certification
  • BLS through AHA (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with in-patient, hospital-based medicine

PAY RANGE STATEMENT:
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity.
