Job description

The Senior Services Recruiter is responsible for the daily coordination and recruitment of seniors for both the Foster Grandparent Program and the Senior Companion Program. The Senior Services Recruiter will act as an assisting agent for all programs. The Recruiter may serve as a signing and approving agent that includes but is not limited to timesheets, reports, and memorandum of understanding. The Senior Services Recruiter will abide by the Methodist Children's Home Society's established procedures for internal review and its standard policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coordination and administration of Senior Services Programs.
  • Assist in retention needs of Senior Services Programs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external programs and departments to provide shared services. Responsible the recruitment and training of all volunteers in appropriate assignments and all events, including in-services, new volunteer orientation, and advisory board.
  • Implement partnering agreements while maintaining In-Service directory.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive activities and training for volunteers.
  • Develop and maintain data processes on recruitment activities and In-Services.
  • Conduct program interviews and surveys for data and grant needs.
  • Develop presentations upon request for community individuals, organizations, and partners to raise awareness and support.

Education and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or high-school diploma with experience will be considered.
  • Training and/or experience in working with those over 55 years of age and volunteers.
