You will bring technical depth, practical engineering judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset to help ensure our products perform reliably in real-world use environments.
What You Will Do
You will:
  • Lead the design, development, and refinement of mechanical, electromechanical, and/or virtual test fixtures for components, subsystems, and full product systems.

  • Develop and execute test plans in partnership with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, electrical/software test teams, and technicians.
  • Lead the development of test systems and fixtures to support product development, design verification, reliability testing, and failure investigation.
  • Partner with electrical and software test engineers to integrate hardware, software, controls, and data acquisition systems into test fixtures and lab equipment.
  • Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve product quality, durability, reliability, and design performance.
  • Evaluate, recommend, procure, and maintain actuation systems, instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition tools, and other technologies to continuously improve test methods and lab capabilities.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and support product reliability improvement efforts through test data analysis, failure analysis, and technical reporting.
  • Serve as a technical lead for test team members, technicians, contractors, external labs, suppliers, and cross-functional partners as needed.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on test methods, reliability tools, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Share best practices across teams and sites, participate in global technical forums, and contribute to continuous improvement of test systems, procedures, and capabilities.
