POSITIONย OVERVIEW:ย Receipt incoming mail for distribution, retrieve oversized packages, dispatch outgoing mail. Serve as secondary receptionist to answer and direct incoming calls to the proper associates. Greetย visitors.

USPS Mail and Packages

  • Pick up mail each weekday from the local United States Postal Office (USPS).
  • Sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately to associate and department mailboxes.
  • Delivery and pick-up mail from Building 3, daily.
  • Monitor and manage incoming fax messages and route to appropriate department.
  • Manage mail room inventory including literature, price lists, catalogs, envelopes, labels, project folders and post office supplies.ย ย ย 
  • Post all outgoing mail and deliver to the Post Office before closing.
  • Drive Company Car Errands such as Bank Runs, P.O. & Expedited Courier Drop-Offs & Pick-Up, Airport Passenger Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs.

  • Accurately answer calls and greet visitors in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner. Act as first point of contact forย visitors.
  • Provide secondary reception coverage during normal business hours including lunch, breaks and time off.
  • Manage the postage meter balance and inform manager when balance is low.
  • Ready M-Center daily.
  • Understand policies as they relate to building security.
  • Feed fish (alternate).

  • Daily Order Report Back-Up.
  • Support Mueller team with customer/supplier visits such as lodging, food, cleaning, organization, etc.
  • Support Mueller team on Town Halls, Christmas parties, company events, etc.
  • Backup for making travel reservations with travel agency.
  • Seek and complete administrative tasks for other departments, as time and workload permit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • General equivalency degree (GED) or high school diploma combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job.
  • Ability to understand and comply with the Mueller Quality System and current regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to utilize a multi-line telephone system and other office equipment.
  • Ability to utilize a USPS compatible mail equipment.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:ย While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 45 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing.
