Responsibilities :

-Design advanced smart grid architectures that integrate meter data management systems with utility operational platforms to enable secure and scalable energy data flows across the enterprise and partner ecosystem.

-Develop end to end solution blueprints for energy ICT initiatives that unify L G MDMS Admin, Siemens MDMS Admin and Itron Meter Data Management platforms into a consistent and maintainable technology landscape.

-Coordinate with product owners, architects and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into clear technical designs that optimize performance, reliability and regulatory compliance for meter data processing.

-Define integration patterns and data models that support high volume meter data ingestion, validation, estimation and editing while maintaining data quality, traceability and audit readiness.

-Review existing smart grid and MDMS implementations to identify architectural gaps, propose remediation strategies and guide teams through modernization and optimization activities.

-Provide hands on guidance on configuration standards and administrative practices for L G MDMS, Siemens MDMS and Itron meter data management environments to ensure consistent and supportable operations. -Collaborate with security and compliance teams to incorporate privacy, cybersecurity and access control requirements into all smart grid and MDMS architectural designs.

-Document reference architectures, interface contracts and deployment patterns to support hybrid work model delivery while ensuring that onsite and remote teams share a unified technical view.

-Work closely with operations and support teams to design monitoring, logging and alerting strategies that ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues across smart grid and MDMS components.

-Evaluate new technologies, tools and industry standards in the smart grid and meter data management domain, and recommend adoption paths that improve efficiency and reduce long term total cost of ownership.

-Partner with data and analytics teams to architect reliable data provisioning pipelines from MDMS platforms into downstream reporting and forecasting solutions that support sustainable energy planning.

-Align architecture decisions with organizational sustainability goals by promoting energy efficient designs, optimal resource utilization and support for distributed energy resources.

-Engage with cross functional stakeholders to communicate architectural options, trade offs and recommendations in clear non technical language that supports informed decision making

-Qualifications

-Exhibit deep expertise in smart grid concepts, including meter data lifecycle, grid interoperability and utility specific communication protocols applied in complex enterprise environments.

-Demonstrate extensive hands on experience administering and architecting L G MDMS solutions, including configuration, performance tuning and lifecycle management for large utility deployments.

-Show strong background in Siemens MDMS administration and solution design, with the ability to adapt platform capabilities to diverse utility business processes.

-Bring proven experience working with Itron meter data management platforms, including data modeling, integration approaches and operational best practices.

-Apply solid knowledge of broader energy ICT ecosystems, such as outage management, billing, customer information systems and distribution management, to design cohesive multi system solutions.

-Utilize experience in hybrid work environments to collaborate effectively across time zones and locations using structured communication and documentation practices.

-Leverage strong skills in integration technologies, relational databases and batch as well as near real time data processing to support robust MDMS centric architectures.

-Display excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills that enable clear documentation, effective workshops and collaborative problem solving across diverse teams.
