Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment and components, is seeking a Fluid End Assembler to join its 1st Shift production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who enjoys mechanical assembly, working with tools, and producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable performing physically demanding work while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday overtime is expected as needed and candidates should be willing to work overtime when production demands require it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble fluid end components and assemblies by following engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

  • Inspect, clean, deburr, grind, and prepare metal components prior to assembly

  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications

  • Perform functional testing and quality inspections on completed assemblies

  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and communicate concerns with production, engineering, and quality teams

  • Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation

  • Safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, grinders, and assembly equipment

  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, or heavy equipment assembly preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions

  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, deburring tools, and precision measuring equipment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift

  • Comfortable performing hands-on work involving metal deburring, grinding, cleaning, and finishing

  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while meeting production goals
