This position is ideal for candidates with industrial painting experience who can maintain consistent quality, support production goals, and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.As a Production Painter, you will play a key role in wet paint and powder coat operations involving metal components, fabricated assemblies, and production materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency in finish quality, and the ability to maintain production efficiency with minimal supervision.We are looking for team members who take pride in workmanship, understand production expectations, and are committed to quality and safety.Position SummaryThe Production Painter is responsible for performing industrial painting operations on metal components and fabricated assemblies while maintaining production schedules and quality standards. This position requires the ability to apply wet paint and powder coat finishes consistently, prepare materials properly, and identify basic finish defects in a production environment.The ideal candidate has experience with industrial painting processes, paint preparation, and production workflow while maintaining safe and organized work practices.ResponsibilitiesApply wet paint and powder coat finishes to metal components and assembliesPrepare paint mixtures and production materials as requiredMaintain consistent paint quality and production efficiencyDetect and correct basic finish defects and inconsistenciesIdentify visible paint defects such as runs, sags, or insufficient coverageWork efficiently within production timelines and schedulesPerform basic cleaning of paint guns and paint booths at the end of each shiftMaintain clean and organized work areasFollow all paint procedures, quality standards, and safety requirementsSupport overall paint department workflow and production needsPainting & Production SkillsExperience with industrial wet paint and/or powder coat applications requiredAbility to maintain consistent finish quality in a production environmentBasic understanding of paint preparation and mixing proceduresAbility to identify visual paint defects and surface inconsistenciesFamiliarity with paint guns, spray equipment, and paint booth operationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and production qualityGood organizational and housekeeping skillsTools & Equipment UsedIndustrial paint guns and spray equipmentWet paint and powder coat systemsPaint preparation and mixing equipmentPaint booths and curing systemsMasking materials and preparation toolsCleaning equipment and solventsMaterial handling carts and racksPPE and safety equipmentQualificationsPrevious industrial painting experience requiredExperience with wet paint and/or powder coat systems requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environmentGood attendance and reliabilityStrong work ethic and team mentalityBilingual in English and Spanish preferredCompensationStarting pay: $22/hourFull-time position40 hours guaranteed per weekStable long-term employmentOpportunity for professional growth within the companyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move materials regularlyAbility to bend, kneel, push, pull, and work in a physically demanding environmentAbility to work safely around paint equipment and production machineryWork EnvironmentThis position works inside a manufacturing and industrial paint facility.
