Door Assembler | Logan, UT


Nexeo Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Door Assembler to join a growing production team. In this role, you will assist with the assembly, sanding, measuring, and finishing of man-doors while ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to read precise measurements, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assemble and construct man-doors according to specifications and production requirements.
  • Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately.
  • Sand and finish door components for a professional appearance.
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect completed products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure to at least 1/16 inch.
  • Ability to read measurements to 1/32 inch preferred.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely perform physical job duties throughout the workday.

Preferred:

    • Previous woodworking experience.
    • Metal fabrication experience.
    • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
    • Prior manufacturing, assembly, construction, or production experience.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required; open-toed shoes are not permitted.
  • Must wear clothing appropriate for a manufacturing environment.
  • Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required based on assigned tasks.


Pay

$18.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Thursday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
