Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Lab Analyst in our Wet Chemistry department to join our team! Our lab specializes in environmental testing and applied analytical chemistry. Our analytical data has provided support for a diverse range of clientele.

The Lab Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples (soil, water) following standard operating procedures (SOPs) according to scientific and EPA methodology in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America Quality Assurance programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Prepare and analyze samples following standard operating procedures.
  • Follow quality control procedures as outlined in our Quality Assurance Manual.
  • Follow all Health and Safety rules.
  • Prepare and maintain standards and reagent solutions according to instructions.
  • Document laboratory procedures and results in logbooks and Laboratory Information Systems.
  • Operate and maintain complex analytical instrumentation.
  • Interpret and report data.
  • Work efficiently to meet project due dates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related required. 
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills (word, excel)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
Additional Information

This is a full time position. Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with possible overtime and weekends as needed. 

Compensation: $19-$22 / hour (DOE) .
