Job description

Job Overview:

Nescon LLC, builder of the Xbroom street sweeper, is looking to hire a Prefabrication Technician to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Unload cut parts from Laser table for cleaning.
  • Clean slag from parts using grinder.
  • Layout and drill holes using tape measure/digital caliper utilizing a drill press and mag drill.
  • Keep daily work log to track production time and components produced.
  • Keep a clean, safe working environment during the day and clean up at the end of every workday.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 1 year of Shop work experience required
  • 1  year forklift operation preferred
  • Able to work on your feet all day (10 hr. shifts)
  • Lift large objects/ metal weighing 50+ lbs.
  • Must be able to fit and check components using drawings and a tape measure.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test for employment

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or some vocational training preferred
