Job Summary
New Castle Metal is seeking a dynamic, highly organized Customer Service Representative to anchor our Hicksville, NY branch. This role sits directly at the intersection of customer-facing sales and back-end operations. As a vital link in our compact, efficient team, you will manage counter sales, accurate order processing, timely shipments, and exceptional customer service. The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact and trusted partner for their customers.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of customer orders.
  • Accurately enter, update and maintain order information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to support long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Represent customer needs and effectively communicate across internal teams.
  • Actively resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaboration with Various Internal Departments.
  • Coordinate and track movement of materials to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Work closely with external suppliers to ensure consistency of materials and services.
  • Identify and resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
