Position Summary

The IT Business Analyst supports the Imaging & Content Platforms team by gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, supporting testing activities, and helping deliver enterprise content management and document workflow solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and project teams to help ensure technology solutions meet business needs and align with organizational standards.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who can analyze business processes, document requirements, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and support technology delivery efforts. This position contributes to initiatives involving enterprise content management, document workflows, digital transformation, and integrations with enterprise platforms such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, Workday, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews.
  • Create and maintain requirements documentation, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
  • Support content management and document workflow initiatives involving document storage, retrieval, metadata management, retention, and lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements, validate solution designs, and support implementation activities.
  • Assist with current-state and future-state process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support integrations between enterprise content platforms and business systems, including ERP and workflow applications.
  • Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and validation of business requirements.
  • Track and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and open decisions within assigned projects.
  • Help ensure solutions align with security, compliance, records management, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare project documentation, meeting materials, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support production deployment, hypercare, and post-implementation activities as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting technology delivery.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and supporting technology implementation projects.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, business systems, workflow solutions, APIs, or document management platforms.
  • Understanding of business analysis fundamentals including requirements management, process mapping, user story development, testing support, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise content management, imaging, document management, workflow automation, e-signature, or digital content platforms.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Nuxeo, Perceptive Content/ImageNOW, OpenText, DocuSign, RightFax, or Hyland IDP.
  • Experience supporting integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, deployment preparation, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compliance, records retention, privacy, audit, or information governance requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, hybrid, or waterfall environments.
  • Healthcare, supply chain, pharmaceutical distribution, finance, or shared services experience.
